Scope and Contents
This volume contains the notices (with land descriptions) of Posted Land in Camden County, Ga. Posted land was considered off-limits for hunting, fishing, and trapping without seeking direct permission from the land owner.
When this record was created, Georgia State law required land owners who refused to allow hunting, fishing, and or trapping on their lands were to post notices along the perimiter of their lands. Land owners were also required to register their land by submitting notifications to the Clerk of the Superior Court stating the language of the posted notificiation along with a description of the land(s) posted.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
This volume is fragile. The binding is loose and pages are pulling away from each other. Submitted notifications have been attached (primarily via stapling) to pages within this volume.
Several of the bound pages are torn, creased and folded.
Inserted between the cover and the first page are three unrelated letters sent to the Clerk. These letters could be removed and filed seperately.
